Founded in 1965, Plastic Art was established with the manufacturing of semi-finished pvc items for the industrial sector with the help of electronic welding technology. The economic boom of those years hauled by the automobile industry-, the constant investments in machinery, the continuous search for national customers in other sectors (i.e. book industry - multimedia - industrial sector) all contributed in giving the company a position of leadership starting from the early 70's.

During the middle of the 70's, the founder,travelling outside Italy , by chance, came across a garment box made in pvc with thick fiberboard inner panels.
With the right intuition of combining the electronic welding technology of pvc with cardboard and with the use of the know how obtained throughout years, the first garment box was born. The first selection of home products was developed : boxes, garment bags and shoe units and the trade mark Ordinett was created. The first Italian and foreign trade fairs were attended.

At the end of the 80's, in order to make its products well know to Italian consumers, the first advertising investments were made for the national mass media. Since then, and constantly for the following 10 years, the consumers have seen the Ordinett campaigns on all main nationalmedia, which have greatly contributed to the notoriety of the brand.

The Group's mission is to try to constantly improve itself in terms of creating functional products which cater for consumer needs, and which must have the following characteristics: user friendly, good appearance, Italian Style, easy to dismantle or collapse and price correctly.

The common objective of all the Group's collaborators is to focus consumer satisfaction, to have a direct contact with the consumer, to be at the customers' service on a 360 degree, and to have human relationships both inside and outside of the Company which are inspired at having maximum, transparence, correctness and respect of the dignity of all.
